Welcome back to the Rock'n'Rolla hotel! While the staff checks you in, I'll explain a little bit about the book. Can't Help Falling in Love is the story of Tony and Randa. At first glance, Tony is the strong, silent type that did not like KT Masters in the last book. Well, he's still strong, but his silence is in jeopardy when the beautiful Randa Whitmore struts her stuff to the front desk. Tony tries to fight the attraction, but he's pretty far gone despite the fact that Randa isn't being completely honest with him. Tony is a war veteran suffering from PTSD. He copes by being a workaholic as manager of the hotel. Randa is the smart, rich, and beautiful daughter of a hotel tycoon. She's on mission to prove herself to her family and will stop at nothing to succeed. The second these two characters are in the same room, sparks fly. You wouldn't think this at first, but they actually had a lot in common. For example, both of them were dog lovers and avid readers. I loved the little moments with Randa and Misty. The trip to the bookstore was a fantastic turning point Randa and Tony's relationship. The only love I find at the bookstore is in the romance section.
I am really loving this series. Can't Help Falling in Love wasn't as "laugh out loud" funny as the first book, but I thought it was a much sweeter romance. Both Tony and Randa have their issues that cause a couple misunderstandings between them, but they quickly move on. The slow seduction between them was fantastic. I loved that Randa was uncomfortable with the attention Tony was giving her. She grew up in a very stand-off-ish family and I don't think she got much affection. Tony saying she was beautiful and sexy were new to her. In return, Randa tried her best to get to know Tony more and get him to open up. Very sweet romance. They only needed a slight push in the right direction towards the end of the book.
I can't wait for the last book in this series. I'm torn between Misty and Cat. Both are minor characters will a lot of potential. Who will the 3rd book be about? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
