Montana real estate agent Quint McCoy will tell you that the most important thing is location, location, location. It's a lesson he learns all too well when he goes incommunicado for a four-week fishing trip to Alaska. While he's away, his mother Molly turns his office into the pie shop she has always dreamed of, Big Sky Pie. But that's not the only surprise in store for him.

On her way out of town, Callee McCoy only wants to say a fond farewell to her beloved mother-in-law. But Molly soon persuades Callee to stay and lend a hand at the new shop, even if it means heating up the kitchen with her soon-to-be ex. As Callee and Quint rediscover their recipe for love, they realize that some couples are so sinfully good together that one delectable taste is never enough ...

Delectable is the story of love lost and love reclaimed. I truly adored the story of Quint and Callee. Both of their hearts were broken with the recent death of Quint's father and now they are dealing with Molly's sudden heart attack. They are thrown together again and are forced to face their past mistakes and fix them. I loved Quint. He's had a pretty great life thus far, but when his dad dies, he is thrown into a tailspin and he does the only thing he can think of - he goes fishing. Sadly, he also left Callee to repair her already broken heart. He comes back with a broken marriage and he has to face a future without Callee. His first day back and he's dealt another blow with his mom's illness and his loss of business space. He turns over a new leaf and more than anything, Quint wants to do right for everyone. He just doesn't know how to go about doing that. Callee, on the other hand, has had to put a brick wall around her heart. In a span of a few days, she lost her father-in-law and the love of her life. She's decided to leave Montana and build a new life in Seattle. With Molly in the hospital, they are together again and have all the time in the world to rekindle their romance.

I loved how sweet and romantic Delectable turned out to be. The characters are flawed, but not over the top flawed. The only flaw is their inability to deal with a broken heart and death. That's it. The characters are adorable. The relationship between Quint and Callee was so sweet. I was rooting for them the entire book. So cute! Perfect book for when you just want romance and to watch two characters fall in love each other for a second time. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
